Suitability

White water rafting can be physically demanding and so a good level of fitness is required. You may end up in the water, so water confidence and an ability to swim is essential. We do take children from 8 years and over on some of our white water trips. If you would like to chat with us about your child taking part in rafting we are happy to talk you through the best options.

We need rain so that the river levels are perfect for rafting. Luckily, it’s something that’s very abundant up North. In the event that the rivers are too low we may offer an alternative like canyoning.

River Leven to Back barrow Bridge – Lake District. Duration 3-4 hours - Suitable for age 13 years and over

River Eden - Lazonby to Armathwaite white water journey – Eden Valley Cumbria. Duration 4 hours - Suitable for 8years and over

This journey has been described as one of the most beautiful sections of River in Cumbria. Its stunning! Especially in the Autumn.

River Tees – Abbey Rapids – County Durham. Duration 3-4 hours Suitable for age 10 years and over
